Even though I know God will provide for all my needs, I don’t like waiting for His timing. I get impatient and try to make things happen. I am also afraid the Lord won’t fulfill my desires. So, I seek what I want instead of trusting Jesus to provide.
Psalm 34:10 is, “Young lions lack food and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.”

The Lord gives me everything I need. When I trust Him to provide the food my body needs, I don’t overindulge. When I overeat, I am not trusting God to provide my daily bread. I have noticed when my food is a mess, the rest of my life is also chaotic. I need to dwell in Jesus. The closer I am to the Lord, the easier it is for me to trust His ways. I can trust that Jesus is in control, even as I wait for His timing.
